1. Workshop DFG-Network «Animation and Contemporary Media Culture», 26.–28.11.2020

Vom 26.–28. November 2020 findet der erste Workshop des DFG-geförderten wissenschaftlichen Netzwerks «Animation and Contemporary Media Culture. Challenges and Potentials of Animation Studies in the Digital Era» (online) statt. Das Thema lautet ‹History and Present of Animation (Studies)›, als Expert*innen zu Gast sind Nichola Dobson (University of Edinburgh) und Paul Ward (Arts University Bournemouth), außerdem geben Mitglieder des Netzwerks Einblicke in ihre aktuelle Forschung im Themenbereich.

From 26–28 November, the DFG funded scientific network «Animation and Contemporary Media Culture. Challenges and Potentials of Animation Studies in the Digital Era» will host its first (virtual) workshop. The topic is ‹History and Present of Animation (Studies)›, guest experts Nichola Dobson (University of Edinburgh) and Paul Ward (Arts University Bournemouth) will be joining us as well as network members who present from their current research.
